I am using Primer-E 5.2.9 and trying to plot species-area curves for 3 factors (localities) simultaneously on the same graph. The menu item Edit>Select>Samples has the check box for "Select by factors levels" checked and the correct factor <locality> selected. When I then plot the species area curve (Analyze>Species-Area Plot...) it ignores this subsetting and plots all three localities together as a single curve. I am selecting the Permute option.
I know this can be done as I've seen the 3 curve graph of this data. I'm actually trying to recreate that analysis to learn how to use this software. Anyone know what I might be missing?
