Scaling of RDA plot PRIMER

Hi,
Does anyone know which is the scaling used in the RDA plots produced in PRIMER? Scaling 1 or 2 or other? Are the vectors of superimposed explanatory variables or species correlations to the axes interpreted in the same way as in R or CANOCO?
